Our Mission:

Hong Kong Manufacturing Industry Employees General Unions (referred to as the general MG), established in January 2000, is the association of the Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions.

The purpose is to unite the manufacturing unions to become a representative group trade unions. On the basis and resources of nearly 30,000 members, the association strengthens contacts and communication with the government and enterprises, investigate and study the development of the manufacturing industry, and express the opinions and propositions of the union on the society, industry and labor policies, so as to safeguard the rights and interests of employees. A variety of educational and training activities to enhance employees' occupational health and employability and various recreational activities to accommodate the busy and intense life of its members.

Organizational structure

The Executive Committee of the Association consists of:

  • Youth and Volunteer Group Working Group: Promote volunteer work, deliver social messages, strengthen cooperation with other volunteer groups, and participate in social service activities Training Working Group: Plan and organize systematic and continuous training courses to improve management for the staff, volunteers and members of each affiliated club , organization and work skills. Industry and rights working group: plan and organize industry activities, deepen members' understanding of the current situation of the industry, and know the development trend of the industry. Regional Working Group: Strengthen the contact network of regional members to better consolidate and unite members.

The Microelectronics Semiconductor Employees Association (MSPA) was established in 2023 to represent industry workers, protect their rights, enhance professional standards, and promote healthy development. MSPA provides workers with a collective voice to defend workplace rights and benefits. Goals include raising wages, improving working conditions, providing professional training and education, and ensuring workplace safety. Members include production workers, technical engineers, researchers, managers, etc., and work together to improve industry conditions by sharing information and improving skills.

Staff Association of Medical Devices and Pharmaceutical & Medical Products Manufacturing Industry

Staff Association of Medical Devices and Pharmaceutical & Medical Products Manufacturing Industry represents workers, protects their rights, raises standards, and promotes healthy development.
